Board of Directors

Leslie Foltz, Bannock Youth Foundation, Pocatello
Leslie began her work at Bannock over fourteen years ago in
the Basic Center program. Most of her work has been in direct
client case management. Currently she is working with the
Therapeutic Foster Care Program, and for the last nine years has
been the facilitator for a Community Based Juvenile Sex Offender
Group. Leslie has been on the Board of Trustees for
several years now and has continued to provide great support,
ideas, and enthusiasm for the network's activities and programs.
We are very happy that Leslie will continue to serve on the
Board in her new role as Chair. One of Leslie's goals
is to bring more diversity to the Board.

Michelle Keating, YouthCare, Seattle
Michelle is a veteran board member and has served the
Network as a WA State representative and also as the Board
Secretary. Currently Michelle is running a
Transitional Living Program for YouthCare in Seattle.
Michelle brings much enthusiasm for the work and for the
possibilities of the Network with her to her new position as
Vice-Chair.

Jorden Nigro, Juneau Youth Services
Jorden is currently
the Residential Director at JYS, and has previously run both
BCP and SOP programs. This is Jorden's first term on the
NWNY Board of Trustees, and she is enthusiastic about both
the opportunity to learn from the board and her goal of
bringing fresh ideas with her as well.

Stephanie Taylor, YouthCare,
Seattle, WA
Stephanie is a force of nature, and continues to be one of
the most involved members of the Board of Trustees. She has not
only been a speaker at network events, but has contributed and
participated in almost every aspect of the network's program
since 2004. Currently Stephanie is working and attending college
and plans to pursue a career in Psychology.

Steve
Olsen, Harry's Mother, Portland
Steve has been on the Board for several years. He is on the Program
Committee and has been active in youth work in the Portland
area for twenty years. Steve has been
our National Rep for Region X for over a year now, and
continues to provide sound advice for
us all in Washington D.C.

Jorden Nigro, Juneau Youth Services
Jorden is currently

Gabriel Duckworth, Residential Youth
Care, Ketchikan
Gabriel works his
administrative magic at Residential Youth Care in Ketchikan.
Currently working toward his goal of a MSW, Gabriel is busy with
his work, educational, and family life. His goals for the board
include the longevity of the Network, the expansion of
membership agencies, and the effective manifestation of our
mission.
Youth Representative, Roy Omiak, Fairbanks Native
Association

Steve Fields, Hays Shelter Home, Boise
Steve is the Program Director for Hays Shelter Home is
Boise, Idaho where he has spent the last seven years directly
serving youth and supervising programs. Steve is new to
the board and this is his first term representing Idaho. Steve
is working towards strengthening relationships and influence
within Idaho for the NWNY.
Chuck Christiansen, Intermountain Hospital, Boise
Chuck is the Director of Business Management at Intermountain
Hospital. He brings 20 year of experience in healthcare,
behavioral health, communications, marketing, and PR to the
Board in this his first term. We look forward to Chuck's
ideas on how to include for-profits and other organizations into
the Network and find ways to make available resources that may
not be available to most non-profits. Chuck would like to
see the Network focus on the total needs of disenfranchised
youth.
Youth Representative, Brandon Davis, Hays Shelter Home
This is Brandon's
first term on the Board and we welcome him and his enthusiasm.
Brandon has spent 6 years in the military and is now taking the
opportunity of board membership to give back to the RHY
community and is planning on using his experience with CPS to
further our work in the NW.

Arnie Green, Community Works, Medford
Arnie is the
Executive Director of a successful agency in Medford and brings
his wealth of experience with over 30 years in RHY to the Board
this year in his first term. Arnie hopes to help the NWNY
to become the best advocacy for Homeless and Runaway Youth in
our region.
Eric Van Houten, Looking Glass, Eugene
Eric is the Program Director for New Roads Looking Glass.
This is Eric's first term on the Board and he hopes to bring his
clinical and RHY experience to the Board and to the Network in a
way that will promote more professionalism in the RHY community
and improve collaborative efforts across the Network agencies.
Youth Representative, Kris McAlister, Looking Glass,
Eugene
Kris is a dynamic board member and is very active in Oregon
around issues facing the RHY populations and is involved with
local and state organizations and government as a result.

Jan Lecture, Youth.Com, Colville
Jan is a newly elected board member and a wonderful addition
to the team. The Board will benefit from her 20 years of experience
and wisdom as a counselor and case manager.
Wendy Tanner, Community
Youth Services, Olympia, WA
Wendy is the COO of Community Youth Services. This is
her first term on the Board.
