their staff to the Network newsletter: "ConneXion". Individual Members receive one
subscription to each.

conferences, and direct contacts.
- Reduced rate training on all aspects of youth service.
- Reduced rates to Northwest Network conferences.
- Consultation on RHY MIS.
- Linkages with national, regional, and state resources
for advocacy and service delivery.
How to Apply for Membership
In order to apply for membership you must follow the guidelines below. Any questions
or concerns regarding these procedures should be directed to the sponsoring Member
or to the Network staff at 800-321-8890 or 206-628-3760 or email at
asknwny@nwny.org.
- Applicants must submit to the Northwest Network office
a completed Membership Application with a letter of support from a current Member.
Applicants do not pay dues until the application has been approved by the Board
of Directors.

Director of the Northwest Network will arrange a site visit to the organization.
A site visit may be accomplished by a Network staff person or Member. In special
circumstances, the Board of Directors may waive the site visit requirement. The
site visit will be used to confirm that the applicant complies with the Mission
and Guiding Principles of the Northwest Network for Youth. A letter confirming this
will be written by the person conducting the site visit and added to the application
materials in the Network office.
- The Membership application materials will be forwarded
to the members of the Board of Directors in preparation for a vote at the next regular
Board meeting. Applicants will be accepted with a two-thirds vote of the Board.
- Applicants not accepted for membership may appeal to
the General membership at the next Annual Membership Meeting. A two-thirds vote
for the application by the membership shall constitute reversal of the Board of
Directorsí decision.
